Prisma was designed by Kaj Franck for Nuutajärvi in 1954, and it was produced from 1954 to 1968. The vase resembles a prism with its color blending. It is free blown and cut into a four-sided flattened diamond shape.

Each vase is signed “K. Franck, Nuutajärvi Notsjö” followed by the year it was made, f.ex. “-65”.

There are several color variations, most common is the purples blending into blues. There is also a yellows and greens blending into blues version as well as a red and brown version.
